Well, between comments and chat, half the party besides me and one outsider voted for going to Undome. That's majority vote, so I don't see the point in waiting until tomorrow.

Off to Undome we go!

Sorry about the long adventuring hiatus. I got really sidetracked.

Anyway, last adventure, we wound up with a tie in choices. I've decided that in case of a tie, the lowest-leveled adventure will be taken.

So we are going to bother the witch, as Walker wanted.

Team SMTDR returns to Spiderspike Hollow. Blah blah blah, usual running down the path with wimpy wolves and goblins...

The werewolf from our first visit was absent this time, however. Considering it had been trying to beat the door down...

I give the guardian the password, and the door opens. We go through and...that's the end of the adventure?

That's right, Spiderspike Hollow is only the entrance! The actual path opens up another place on the map, Undome.

So we have options:

- Go to Undome and save the witch from the werewolves that have surely gotten in by now (Recommended 5th level)
- Go to Elerin and join the fight against the elves OR defend them from the raid (Recommended 6th level)

Our party:

Cherry (LG Human Paladin 5th level)
Nyx (N Elf Cleric 5th level)
Andi (CN Human Psion 5th level)
Walker (NG Human Fighter 5th level)
Icy (LE Halfling Monk 5th level)
Eden(Igor) (CG Half-Elf Bard 5th level)

This is the dumbest break point ever, game. But it's a break point nonetheless.

Where to?

Under the cut )

We have some options:

- Go to Spiderspike Hollow and meet the witch (Recommended 3rd level)
- (UNLISTED) Go to Spiderspike Hollow and explore the other side of the hollows (Recommended 3rd level?)
- Go to Elerin and fight the elves (Recommended 6th level)
- Go to Elerin and defend the elves (Recommended 6th level)

Our party:

Cherry (LG Human Paladin 5th level)
Nyx (N Elf Cleric 5th level)
Andi (CN Human Psion 5th level)
Walker (NG Human Fighter 5th level)
Icy (LE Halfling Monk 5th level)
Eden (CG Half-Elf Bard 5th level)

Where to, gang?

So there wasn't much I could find in the way of silver weapons that wasn't hideously expensive. Walker and Eden got a couple quivers of silver arrows and that was about it.

weirdest adventure yet. )

So we have choices, one of which has a choice all its own!

- Go to Spiderspike Hollow and save the witch from the wolves. (recommended 3rd level)
- Go to Elerin and fight the elves OR defend them. (select one if you choose this) (Recommended 6th level)

Our party:

Cherry (LG Human Paladin 5th level)
Nyx (N Elf Cleric 5th level)
Andi (CN Human Psion 5th level)
Walker (NG Human Fighter 5th level)
Icy (LE Halfling Monk 5th level)
Eden (CG Half-elf Bard 5th level)

If we go to Spiderspike Hollow - do we go straight to the witch or explore the hollows?
If we go to Elerin - which side will we take?

Where to, adventurers?

So when we last left off, our quest to find the druid did not turn out as planned. So off we go to Spiderspike Hollow to meet the witch who made the prophecy in the first place!

under the cut )

So that leaves two options still:

- Return to Spiderspike Hollow and explore the hollows for the hell of it (recommended 3rd level?)
- Go to the Tower of Crows and meet with the Svernkaegro family for more information on Athearorn. (recommended 4th level)

Our party:

Cherry (LG Human Paladin 4th level)
Nyx (N Elf Cleric 4th level)
Andi (CN Human Psion 4th level)
Walker (NG Human Fighter 4th level)
Icy (LE Halfling Monk 4th level)
Eden (CG Half-Elf Bard 4th level)

...So now what?
chierii: (Default)
Walker and Nyx both voted we should go investigate the druid. So off we go!

under the cut )

Well, that was...useless.

Except the XP! Everyone gained a level!

Our options now are:

- Go see the witch (Recommended 3rd level)
- Go see the Svernkaegro family (recommended 4th level)

Our party is:

Cherry (LG Human Paladin 4th level)
Nyx (N Elf Cleric 4th level)
Andi (CN Human Psion 4th level)
Walker (NG Human Fighter 4th level)
Icy (LE Halfling Monk 4th level)
Eden (CG Half-Elf Bard 4th level)

Where to, adventurers?

...But first, WE ARE IN SOME BIZARRO COMIC BOOK D&D WORLD OR SOMETHING.

Okay. Let me explain that outburst.

...under the cut. )

So now we have three ways to go.

We can:

- Go to Spiderspike Hollow to meet with the witch (recommended 3rd level)
- Go to Linaewen and find the druid (recommended 3rd level)
- Go to the tower and find the noble family (recommended 4th level)

Our party:

Cherry (LG Human Paladin 3rd level)
Nyx (N Elf Cleric 3rd level)
Andi (CN Human Psion 3rd level)
Walker (NG Human Fighter 3rd level)
Icy (LE Halfling Monk 3rd level)
Eden (CG Half-Elf Bard 3rd level)

So! Where to, guys?

So, does anyone remember that sort of LP of Dungeons and Dragons: Tactics that I started while waiting in the courthouse?

Well, now that I have a new and working PSP, I can continue!

So we last left off with Walker's decision to go clear the elf village of Elerin of the bugbears.

The bridge leading to the periphery of the village is so narrow the party had to walk single-file. No sooner had the first of us stepped into the first opening than some old elf named Sindarel comes barging in from the sides of the fortress, telling us to leave.

I identify myself and show him Lady Alia's banner, and request entry (all lines are given to people in certain party slots. This one is attributed to party member 1, or the main character.)

Sindarel identifies himself (even though the text box already told us his name) as the captain of the Elven war-circle. He insists that even though he recognizes the banner, he can't let us in, claiming the plague of goblins makes it too dangerous to lower the drawbridges. With that, he bids us farewell and runs off.

The party doesn't agree through dialogue to keep going so I just assume we all just sort of thought "Oh hell no!" and unanimously decided to keep going.

Yay Team SMTDR!

Next, when I'm done eating dinner: Fighting bugbears and a conspicuous lack of Dexterity checks!

I want to introduce you all to Imran, or [livejournal.com profile] timelessgray, a human kid-turned-Charmander just trying to figure out what's going on.

That's right, it's an interactive journal fic of sorts (not quite a LP?) of Pokemon Mystery Dungeon! Explorers of Darkness, to be precise.

It's probably silly and stupid, but Imran is an indecisive derp just like his author/player and needs you guys to help make decisions.

You don't have to be anonymous despite that being the preferred format of the people involved so far, but I just ask that you respect the fourth wall (and the plot!) or you'll have a confused Charmander on your hands. Feel free to friend him or just watch me since I'll be announcing posts of his in posts of my own.

It might be hard because of the format to read from the beginning, and for that, I apologize. If you want a link to his first post or to any post, just ask him and maybe he'll point you to it!

I look forward to this...whatever it is. Hope you'll join us!

Okay, jury duty was handled without problems. I just sat around with the PSP for a few hours while they called just about every number but mine, and then sent me and some others home without being put on a panel. Yay!

So, I'm sure the chat guys wanna know how their DnD personae fared, and here's how it went:

oops! Forgot to cut! )

So, I have two places to go:

1: Go help the elves fight off the bugbears. (Game recommends 2nd level party)
2: Go see the witch, Entelesse. (Game recommends 3rd level party)

Our party is all level 3 except Icy and Eden/Igor, at level 2.

What do you say, guys? I'm gonna turn this into an LP of sorts because really, it sounds like a lot of fun.

Post where you want to go next here!
