So a couple days ago, I picked up P4 for the first time in forever and realized HOLY SHIT I HAVE TWO MONTHS TO MAX NANAKO'S S.LINK!
So it kind of went like this, in my head:

So yeah. Fortunately, I don't think this guy is a journal muse, he's probably just there to taunt me for my fail. Arrogant Persona-angel-thing. BUT THAT'S THE THING. I HAVE A PERSONA MUSE. BUT IT'S ANOTHER ANGEL! WHAT IS IT WITH ME AND ANGELS?
Then again, this one is coincidence. If Nanako had been any other arcana, I wouldn't be having this problem. XD

Aug. 12th, 2010 04:31 pmSo, this is a little mini...midquel to Off-Alignment. It has no title because I got the idea for this little scene in the middle of the dungeon and I really want to get back to the game. Warning for, uh...I guess there aren't any warnings?

So, I take back what I said about the game treating you like a villain when you go Law and ranting about how absurd the bias is.
Chaos kicks you just as hard. And the similarities are so absurd I want to scream at Zelenin and Jimenez both, and show them the other's sequence just so I can pull a Not So Different line and stalk off to a Neutral play. Goddamn.
That said, DR peeps, I am probably going to make it to the Mastema fight today, which means Masty's going to get yoinked back into his world due to being fused. You know, though, I haven't had a fusion accident all playthrough. If this churns out something different I may just drop the canon update. XD (Nah, who am I kidding? I'll just retreat to the Terminal after the battle and install Fracastoro.)
If I make it to the final battle somehow, too, I'm going to deliberately wait until tomorrow so I don't spam the comm.

In sector Delphinus, Zelenin uses the MK Gun on the free-floating Formless. Does nothing, so she asks Arthur what's wrong. So far, so good. Nothing out of the ordinary.
And then the next couple of lines hit.
Arthur: The MK Gun directly targets receptors in the human brain. It is not designed for use on a free-floating parasite.
Zelenin: Meaning...?
Arthur obligingly goes on to explain that means you need to defeat the Formless with other kinds of weapons, not mentioning what he said may have been difficult to follow.
But, you know. What he said seemed easy enough to understand to me. I just don't get this giant idiot moment.
By the way, you guys should totally see Mastema-muse in here. XD He's trying to defend her. Something along the lines of the demon had just been directly antagonizing her, it was stress...

Jul. 7th, 2010 10:45 amSo, last night, I beat Strange Journey, on the Law path. The gamemuse didn't want to go dormant. So he is now a RP muse.
Doing a Chaos playthrough next. I swear there won't be a pup created from it this time, but do expect something to happen RP-wise in celebration when I complete it.
Planning on fusing up Mastema at the endgame this time, then summoning him for my final, Neutral playthrough to watch Mem Aleph reflect her Wind skills off both him and Quetzalcoatl. Should be fun, and sweet revenge, especially with all the unused incenses I'll probably have stacked up over the course of two games.
God, how many game overs did Mem Aleph give me? Stupid Mother's Kiss hitting me seven times out of eight over and over. "Random", my ass.

(After I die due to a Bomb’d demon and lose a floor of progress)
Mastema: You do not have to suffer through too much. Fighting the Formless again is the worst of it.
Metatron: And listening to them tell Zelenin everyone lusted after her, as well. *gives Mastema a brief, pointed look*
Mastema: *glares in return, makes a displeased noise* You do not even know what you are talking about.
Metatron: Oh? How else are we to interpret your interest in her? At least three humans playing the game independently, on three separate alignment paths have said you sound like you are sexually attracted to her.
Mastema: They are only human! The situation is not even remotely close!
Metatron: You only say that because you will face repercussions if you are.
Mastema: I can sense her faith!
Metatron: If you can sense human faith, why do you need to test it? Would that not make your job unnecessary?

Jun. 16th, 2010 10:02 amHoly crap I beat the White Rider on my first encounter. I was fully expecting to die, but somehow, I and my last demon pulled through, and we each gained three levels. Well worth the number of Chakra Drops I had to use and the amount I had to pay in sickbay (nine dead demons and two live ones with almost no MP orz).
