I now wear medium-size shirts, almost universally! Large shirts fall off my shoulders now. (and I got the bright idea to take a picture of myself by taking a picture of a mirror.) Remember I actually had to leave chat to go buy them?
Additionally, I learned I'm actually a D-cup instead of DD. I don't know if I lost a cup size or if I was D all along and was mistaken - it happened with my shoe size, too, after all. (Somehow, I was walking around in size 9s when I was really a 6.5. o_o) Speaking of bra measurements, I also went down a band size - from the last set of hooks on one, to the middle set on the other.
Current weight is 130 lbs. (at 5'0"). Clinically, I am only five pounds overweight, meaning I no longer fit into the "obese" category! :D
I want to celebrate, but I don't know how.
A quick comparison (I don't have any before pictures to match to this after, though):
Starting Weight: 170 lbs.
Starting Pants Size: 16
Current Weight: 130 lbs. (40 lost)
Current Pants Size: 10 (3 lost)
Efficiency: Really fucking poor. Those starting stats were from over four years ago.
Anyway, friends, tell me how I should celebrate!

Date: 2010-06-26 05:19 am (UTC)I'm really aiming for 120-125, but even if I can't lose those last five pounds I'll be happy. I'm not obese, and that much is awesome.

Date: 2010-06-26 06:39 am (UTC)Um, I honestly have no idea since everyone's metabolism and body type is different. For me, just cutting calories and drinking lots of water did it. (and walking everywhere I needed to go)
Maybe consult a dietician? Or just mess around with different plans until you find one that works for you? The latter is pretty much what I did. Messed around until I figured out what worked.
