On tech-illiteracy and the inability to apply non-tech knowledge to tech problems
I never had any plans for moving out, I figured I'd do that whenever it was convenient for everyone. And if it never was, then so be it. I figured I'd do whatever was best rather than what society expects of me. Just because I'm "supposed" to move out as an adult doesn't mean it would work out or I should, right?
Anyway...
My mom's utter inability to follow instructions on a computer screen or even click what seems right has made me decide that even if it seems convenient to move out, even if I want to, I'm not going to as long as my mom owns a piece of technology with any sort of user interface beyond a power button.
